Recognized by Thumbtack as one of New York City’s top vocal coaches, Rebecca has worked with a diverse range of students, from aspiring actors to seasoned Broadway and opera performers. She is thrilled to return to the Twin Cities, where her musical journey began at St. Olaf College and continues with performances at the Minnesota Opera. Rebecca is also a valued member of the music faculty at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, where she offers private voice instruction and directs the elite Chamber Singers Choir. She holds a master’s degree in vocal performance from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Throughout her career, Rebecca has performed with theaters and opera companies nationwide and brings more than a decade of teaching experience, guiding students of all ages from beginners to professionals.
Rebecca's approach to teaching singing and acting is to develop the two main factors in great performances: seamless technique and an emotional connection to the text. Rebecca utilizes a solid foundation in classical vocal technique, while providing a strong understanding of the techniques and styles related to contemporary pop/rock/R&B music and Broadway.
